About Amy
Amy Groshek was born in 1977 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Her family worked an 80-head dairy operation near Pleasantville until 1986. In 2000, Amy earned a BS in Botany from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She then completed an MFA in Poetry at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Amy taught writing and technology at Alaska Pacific University for two years. Since returning to Wisconsin in 2006, she has worked as a technical writer and online learning designer, specializing in open source technology.
